Buffalo, NY—U-C Coatings, LLC, headquartered here, a leader in protection for the wood products industry, recently announced the introduction of Gempaint Ultra. Gempaint Ultra is a premium, water based, low VOC paint designed for the marking and branding of softwood and Hardwood panel products. According to the company, Gempaint Ultra provides superior hiding, strong color, excellent coverage, and fast dry-time on plywood, OSB, MDF and particleboard. Gempaint Ultra provides a rich, low-gloss appearance for companies looking for a more vibrant appearance for their logos and the edges of their sheets. Gempaint Ultra comes in 37 standard colors. Custom-colors are available upon request.

“Part of our role in the industry is to continuously innovate and improve our customers’ products, which is why we created Gempaint Ultra,” said Eric Degenfelder, CEO of U-C Coatings. “This product will accommodate those companies looking for a premium paint for panel products with a quality unmatched in the market today.”

U-C Coatings also is introducing an innovative new fence stain product from its Eco Chemical division in Seattle, WA. Eco Chemical 221 Fence Stain will be sold as a concentrate in four premixed colors, offering customers the equivalent of 15 gallons of working stain in a five-gallon pail.  Rather than selling customers water, this new product provides the concentrated ingredients of a high-quality waterborne alkyd stain that can be more conveniently transported.
