Ron Jones Serves As Penn-York Host; Walker/Forcey Team Up For Sept. Meeting
Ron Jones Hardwood Sales Inc. was the recent host of the monthly Penn-York Lumbermen’s Club meeting, which was held at Wanago Country Club in Reno, PA.
Fred Strathmeyer Jr., executive director of the Pennsylvania Forest Products Association, was the guest speaker. In addition to a reception and buffet dinner, Penn-York members and guests enjoyed a golf game and sporting clays at Sandycreek Conservancy Inc.
First place team in the golf scramble included: Reza Reese, Shawn Donovan, Alex Small and Mark Winiesdorffer.
Second place scramble team included: Steve Jones, Don Fetzer, Fred Strathmeyer and Sherri Strathmyer.
The top three scorers in the clay shoot were: Bob Long (83), Scott Silvis (78) and Russ Shamblen (59).
