Brian Dysserinck is Operations Manager for Delta Cedar Specialties, headquartered in Delta, BC. Dysserinck is responsible for all primary sawmill production and remanufacturing, as well as inventory management and overall coordination from production through sales.
Delta Cedar began as a small, family-owned company in 1958 with full remanufacturing capability of Western Red Cedar, Yellow Cedar, Hemlock and Fir in both green and KD with grades utility through clears. Thicknesses include 1” and 2” TK and dimension as well as all sizes of timbers, including surfaced, rough, green, and pattern stock.
Dysserinck has worked for Delta Cedar for 35 years and has been in his current position for 15. He started in 1981 as a weekend cleaner for Sunbury Cedar, Delta Cedar’s former retail outlet. Dysserinck also has experience as a sales representative, delivery truck driver, shipping receiver, and Production Manager for the Value-Added division.
In his free time, Dysserinck enjoys woodworking, playing guitar, and working on cars. He has a son and a daughter with his wife of 33 years, Judy.

Bryan Darrah is a new Sales Representative at Durgin & Crowell Lumber Co. Inc., an Eastern White Pine sawmill located in Springfield, NH. Darrah is responsible for scheduling production for the planer mill, overseeing quality control, and seeing orders through to completion.
Since its founding in 1976, Durgin & Crowell has grown to become one of New England’s largest manufacturers of kiln-dried Eastern White Pine lumber, annually producing up to 31 million BF of 4/4 stock. The company produces all NELMA grades and patterns and sells its products FOB mill.
According to Darrah, the sales team at Durgin & Crowell is very hands on throughout the entire lumber manufacturing process from taking the purchase order until the load is strapped to the truck bed. Prior to working for Durgin & Crowell, Darrah managed a restaurant in North Conway, NH.
When Darrah is not working, he enjoys golfing, hiking with his dog and relaxing with a fine cigar. In the wintertime, he enjoys snow-shoeing and skiing with his nephews.

Kevin Smith is a sales manager for Timber Products in Springfield, OR. Smith oversees sales for the manufacturing facility in Grants Pass, OR. The company is a manufacturer of forest products with national sales. The company produces all types of Softwood plywood: sheathing, underlayment, oversized products, AC, BC, CCPTS, CDPTS, BarracudaPly marine panels, industrial panels, hardwood plywood, MDF, particleboard, components, hardwood lumber and decorative laminates. They will cut products to size and provide special cut plywood.
Smith has worked for three years at Timber Products. He has worked in the forest products industry for over 21 years. His first job was as a buyer for Georgia-Pacific in Atlanta, GA. He was also a buyer for the wholesale distribution division of Georgia-Pacific and as a buyer, salesperson and sales manager for Roseburg Forest Products.
Smith went to the University of Georgia. In his free time, he enjoys watching college sports, working out and walking his two dogs, Lenny and Riley. He and his wife, Keri Smith, have been married for 18 years.

Lukas Mace is Logistics Manager/Sales for Richardson Timbers, a custom millwork company located in Dallas, TX. His responsibilities include managing the drivers and fleet, working on trucks when needed, setting up routes, delivering products, taking sales orders and helping customers with any questions they may have.
Richardson Timbers services the states of Texas and Oklahoma, purchasing approximately 5.5 million board feet of lumber annually. The company produces kiln-dried Fir in No. 1 Common from 4×6 to 12×6; green Douglas Fir in No. 1 Common and Better from 4×6 to 20×20; and green Western Red Cedar in No. 1 Common from 4×6 to 16×16. Richardson Timbers also produces VG Cedar in A and Better and MG & VG Fir in Common and Better, available in 1×6 and 1×8.
The company’s services include exclusive Tru-Ruf surfacing, saw texturing, surfacing (of all four sides up to 20×20), hand hewn finishing, custom sizing, siding patterns, precision-end trim and a variety of remanufacturing services for customer materials. Mace has held his current position for four months and has worked with Richardson Timbers for a total of eight months. This is his first year in the forest products industry, in which he began working as a Class A CDL delivery driver.
Mace spends most of his free time with his wife, Shannon, and daughter, Ansley. Together, they enjoy boating, swimming, horseback riding, fishing, hunting, baseball, football, rodeos and any other fun activities they can find.
