Does This Sound Like Your Kind Of Industry Event?

The summer season may be winding down, but HMA members are revving up for an over-the-top Regional Meeting soon to convene in the Show-Me State. Yes, our Fall Regional Meeting, an exclusive HMA member benefit, is set for Tuesday through Thursday, October 18-20, in St. Louis, Missouri. And the agenda is a full one.

•Tuesday ‘early arrivals’ are invited to meet-up with HMA’s Board of Directors, Past Presidents, and NextGen Leaders Council members for an evening of food, liquid refreshments and fun at the Board of Directors’ Dinner Reception. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. And to accommodate everyone – Advance Reservations are required!

•Wednesday’s facility tours of East Perry Lumber Company, Frohna; HAVCO Wood Products, Scott City; and W.W. Wood Products, Inc., Dudley, will be followed by a not-to-be missed, HMA-style reception and dinner, and an evening of networking and colleague comradery.

•Thursday’s Tour of McGinnis Wood Products, Inc., in Cuba, will be the official close of the Meeting, before depositing our happy participants at St. Louis Lambert International Airport.

Does this sound like your kind of Hardwood industry event? If so, you‘ll find all of the Meeting details at HMAmembers.org. Now, here is the other significant need-to-know part of my message.

If your organization is not a member of the HMA, but You would like to get on board, there is plenty of time to do so before our October event. Simply contact me to discuss the particulars of HMA membership, which includes ‘new’ member incentives that are currently available. The best way to reach me is via email at ljovanovich@hardwood.org.

It goes without saying, I hope to hear from you, soon, and anticipate meeting you at the Missouri Meeting.

Looking ahead, HMA’s National Conference and Expo is set for March 22-24, 2023, at the JW Marriott Nashville. Themed “Agents of Change,” in the coming months, I’ll be providing more detail about the event. But know that it will be featuring speakers and panel discussions on issues of importance to the Hardwood industry – leadership, innovation, technology, manufacturing and market trends, national and global economics, and more.

It’s very exciting, and I’m thinking you’ll appreciate the information that will soon be coming your way. Until then, all the best.
