Philip Bibeau of Jaffrey, NH, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the age of 67 from complications of Lewy Body dementia.

Philip was born in Gardner, MA, on November 15, 1957. He graduated from Gardner High School in 1975. He went on to attend Pennsylvania State University where he earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the field of Science, Health, Physical Education and Recreation.

Upon graduation from Penn State, he became a sales associate at Monadnock Forest Products.

In 1995, he joined the Wood Products Manufacturers Association as the Director of Association Services and in 2000 transitioned into the role of Executive Director until his retirement in 2021.

Philip was admired and respected by many people. He had the kindest heart and soul and was one of the nicest individuals you could ever meet. He was a genuine, honest, generous and compassionate man beyond measure, with a heart and soul to match.

Philip is survived by his wife of 31 years, Lori, and their dog, Piper. They will miss him deeply. Philip and Lori were together twenty-four hours a day, 7 days a week for 27 years. This will be a difficult transition for them both.

He is also survived by his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Bibeau, who died on December 7, 2008.

Lori would like to thank Kody Zarozinski, Sholie Fox, Margaret Magill, Jessica Paradis, Marianne Fleurent, Sara Ziegerhofer, Hanna Ziegerhofer, Hunter Ziegerhofer and Ron Black for their unwavering loyalty and dedication in caring for Philip as well as their continuous support to Lori during the past six months. These people became family to Philip and Lori and brought both joy and happiness every day to a devastating situation. They gave Philip the absolute best care they could possibly give. Philip, Lori and Piper were fortunate beyond measure to have these extraordinarily special people in their corner.

Services and a private burial were held at Mack Funeral Home in Gardner, MA.

In Memoriam

John Pittman Wooley

John Pittman Wooley, 96, Mooresville, IN, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at his home.

He was born on Wednesday, October 10, 1928, in Franklin, IN, to the late John Magaw and Norma Elizabeth (Pittman) Wooley.

John was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis. During his time in school, he was a Boy Scout and earned the distinction of Eagle Scout. After graduation he attended Franklin College, in Franklin, IN, and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He went to work at the family business, John M. Wooley Lumber Company, which was founded in 1942. He worked there and after his father’s death he became owner and president of the company until his retirement. He was a member of the Broadway Methodist Church in Indianapolis. John was a longtime member of the Millersville Masonic Lodge F&AM #126. He was a past president of the Indiana Hardwood Lumbermen’s Association in 1981.

John was an avid Purdue fan, enjoying both football and basketball and was a Colts fan. He enjoyed reading and watching westerns. His grandchildren were his greatest joy. He especially enjoyed attending all of their activities and spending time with them.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Sue “Sherry” (Cooper) Wooley, whom he married on June 4, 1982; sons, Steve Wooley (Cheryl) of New Hampshire, Dan Wooley of Hazelwood, IN, and Jeff Wooley (Kelly) of Wisconsin; daughters, Janet Sexon of Spencer, IN, and Shannon Hall of Mooresville, IN; grandchildren, Lauren Soutiea (Greg), Kate Wooley, Myra Popejoy (Mike), Aubriel Wooley, Pariss Wooley, Kyle Hall (Janay Jones) and Cade Hall (Sloane Wright); great grandchildren, Jett Hall, Jia Hall and Addison Wooley.

Funeral services were held at Costin Funeral Chapel. The burial took place at Mannan Cemetery at Lewisville, IN.
