From quality assurance and product qualification work to technical guidance and educational outreach, APA supported thousands of projects, professionals and member manufacturers across North America.
Highlights from APA’s work in 2025 include:
• More than 45,000 on-demand webinar views.

• 14,400 industry interactions, including 180 formal presentations delivered to more than 7,000 attendees, while supporting 40 builder regional offices that collectively build approximately 100,000 homes annually.

Through rigorous auditing, testing and product qualification programs, APA helps manufacturers demonstrate product compliance through their quality assurance system. This includes review of mill quality procedures, independent third-party audits and regular independent testing that verifies the quality and performance of wood structural panels. APA currently offers more than 150 free Product Reports, including several specifically developed for use in Canada. Backed by APA’s industry-leading third-party auditing and testing programs, these reports provide building officials and design professionals with clear, authoritative documentation of engineered wood product compliance with model building codes. These reports comply with the requirements for evaluation reports in the 2024 IRC and 2024 IBC and include design properties, qualification criteria and installation guidance.
