Gabriel Farias Joins APA Board Of Trustees

Gabriel Farias

APA – The Engineered Wood Association Board of Trustees welcomes Gabriel Farias as its newest member.

Farias is vice president of OSB manufacturing at LP. He brings extensive experience in operations and a passion for innovation to the Board. Prior to joining LP in 2023, he worked in the steel industry where he held roles in manufacturing and plant operations.

He later moved into the building products industry, working at Armstrong Flooring and Armstrong World Industries. During his time at Armstrong World Industries, Farias led the technical group responsible for innovation, new product development and manufacturing business support.

Farias earned his bachelor’s degree in electronic and automation engineering from Técnica Federico Santa María in Chile. He also obtained multiple professional certifications from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and Rutgers University.

“We’re grateful to welcome Gabriel to the Board of Trustees,” said APA President Mark Tibbetts. “His industry experience, innovative mindset, and strong leadership will be invaluable in helping APA advance its mission.”
