Ron Jones Hardwood Sales Welcomes Penn-York Lumbermen’s Club

Ron Jones Hardwood Sales Inc. served as the recent host for a Penn-York Lumbermen’s Club meeting, which was attended by approximately 85 Penn-York members and guests. Wanango Country Club in Reno, PA, was the site for the club’s meeting and dinner. Guest speaker was Todd Swanson, senior investment manager with PNC Bank. He gave a recap of current and future-looking economic indicators.

A golf game with 36 participants and sporting clays, with 13 participants, were also enjoyed by attendees. Golf game winners were: 1st Place – Low Gross: Marty James, 76; and 2nd Place – Low Gross: Justin Tanner, 79.

Sporting clay winners were: Bob Long, first place – 80; Curtis Hollabaugh, second place – 76; and Joe Benko, third place – 65.

According to the company’s website, Ron Jones Hardwood Sales Inc., with sales offices in Union City, PA and its yard in Franklin, PA, produces up to 10 million board feet of Hardwoods each year with a facility capacity in excess of 3 million board feet. The company provides a diverse package of products and services.

•Lumber is regraded after being kiln-dried

The next Penn-York Meeting is scheduled for Sept. 9 in State College, PA, and will be hosted by Walker Lumber and Forcey Lumber Co. Inc
