Edwardsville, IL—R. P. Lumber, based here, has purchased Build-Rite Lumber & Supply, which has stores in Rawlins and Saratoga, WY.
Build-Rite, founded in 1963, represents R.P. Lumber’s first location outside of Illinois and Missouri. Build-Rite will operate under the R.P. Lumber brand with key team members continuing at the company.
Founded in 1977, R.P. Lumber is a full-service retail home center and building materials supplier with 71 locations. Its products include White and Yellow Pine, Ponderosa Pine, SPF and pressure treated lumber as well as Cedar decking.
