An Industry Event With A ‘Message’ To Share

Later this month, HMA members and many industry associates will be meeting at the JW Marriott Nashville for HMA’s National Conference and Expo. The event is open to all Hardwood industry stakeholders, and I encourage you to join us. Our event theme is “Agents of Change.” And indeed, change is upon us.

There is still time for you to register to attend the March 22-24 event but act soon. You’ll find all of the Conference and Expo details – Registration, Program Schedule, Hotel Information, Expo Participants and Conference Sponsors – at HMAmembers.org. And of course, contact me at either 412-215-9256 or info@hardwood.org, should you have any questions.

Today, my goal is to spotlight the industry professionals who have shown extraordinary support of our upcoming event. I take great pleasure in telling you that the Expo is Sold-Out!

Yes, all Booth space for this year’s event is spoken for. And I thank you – Hardwood industry suppliers – for your wonderful show of support to the HMA. (If there are ‘late-to-the-party’ vendors interested in mixing and mingling with us in Nashville, call me, 412-215-9256. Perhaps being a Strolling Supplier is a viable option for you, this time around.)

To see which vendors will be in Nashville, and where they’ll be on the exhibit floor, visit HMAmembers.org, and be sure to take note of Booth numbers, because our supportive industry suppliers will be ‘front and center,’ beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22 until 11 a.m. on Friday, March 24!

And speaking of support from our Hardwood industry colleagues, I’d like to recognize and thank all of the Conference Sponsors who, at the time of this writing, have gone “above and beyond” in their support of the HMA.

Thanks so much to Event Sponsors: Farm Credit Mid-America, MiCROTEC, Nyle Dry Kilns, Pennsylvania Lumbermens Mutual Insurance Company, Taylor Machine Works Inc. and USNR; Platinum Sponsors: BID Group, Nyle Dry Kilns, Piche, TS Manufacturing and UPG; Gold Sponsor: Battle Lumber Company Inc.; Silver Sponsors: DMSi/TallyExpress/eLIMBS and JoeScan Inc., and Bronze Sponsor: American Wood Technology LLC.

Your additional financial support enables HMA to enhance the overall Conference offerings. To show our gratitude, HMA will be recognizing all Conference sponsors in the Conference promo material, during the actual event in Nashville, in our social media posts, and all year long on our member website, HMAmembers.org.

So, the clock is ticking ‘til NatCon 2023 gets underway. By all means, join us in Nashville. As the title of my column states, HMA’s National Conference and Expo has an important ‘message’ to share, especially if your strategic plan is about making changes and moving forward. Don’t say that I didn’t tell you.
