About Sunset View Cabinetry

The story of SVC starts on a rural dairy farm in Pembroke, Kentucky with a teenage boy named Samuel King Jr.! On May 15, 2012, a farming accident changed the life of this young farm boy forever. Growing up on a dairy farm, Samuel had a passion for Organic Farming and caring for livestock. But, due to a serious back injury at the age of 15, he could no longer perform the heavy work required on an Amish organic Dairy Farm.

As a boy, Samuel always enjoyed working with wood and building crafts in the family hobby shop. Also growing up, he developed an interest in clocks. After his farming injury, he eventually combined these two interest and started building custom clocks. This soon grew into a blooming business and in November of 2015 he launched a business named “Jr’s Clock Shop”. This business is still a thriving business today and offers all types of clocks, from mantle clocks to grandfather clocks, built out of almost any type of hardwood you can think of. Red Oak, White Oak, Walnut, Cherry, Gray Elm, Maple and Hackberry is only a partial listing of hardwoods kept in stock at Jr’s Clock Shop.
