Vancouver And NAWLA Team Up For Event
A panel discussion titled “Duties and Tariffs: Navigating New North America Trade Realities,” where industry leaders explored the evolving trade landscape across North America, was the highlight of a recent North American Wholesale Lumber Association (NAWLA) regional meeting in Vancouver, BC. The gathering was held at Terminal City Club with approximately 200 in attendance. The panel shared insights on tariffs, policy shifts and their impact on the wood products industry.
On the docket to speak were Carl Dobler, vice president of sales and marketing at Interfor; Kurt Niquidet, president of the BC Lumber Trade Council and vice president and chief economist at BC Council of Forest Industries; and Andy Reilly, who in 1995, began operations, manufacturing Cedar products for the U.S. and international distributors. He has served in various capacities on multiple industry coalitions and organizations.
The four-hour event adjourned after dining and networking opportunities concluded.
