Dan Maher Handles Imported Wood For Warren Trask
Dan Maher
Dan Maher is the product manager for Blue Star (Dark Red Meranti), Red Balau, Ipe and Accoya at Warren Trask Company’s Lakeville, MA, location. In these product lines alone, Warren Trask imports over three million board feet of lumber annually and is focused on providing their customers with the highest quality products in the market, stated a company source.
When it comes to Mahogany, Warren Trask is unique in their ability to offer a full line of products in both Blue Star and Red Balau. Across both lines, Warren Trask offers over 50 different SKUs of decking, trim boards, siding and decking accessories. According to Maher, “Blue Star is the best Mahogany in the market. Every time our customers buy Blue Star, they know that they are getting the same, consistent, high-quality product that the brand has been known for since the late 1980’s.”
Warren Trask has the same focus on quality when sourcing Ipe. For years, they have been known for carrying premium decking, boards and decking accessories. “We only work with vendors that we trust and are able to provide the premium Ipe that our customers have come to expect from us.” said Maher.
Warren Trask entered the modified wood market in 2023 with the addition of Accoya. Maher stated “Although Accoya is a newer product for us, we have seen sales increase year over year as brand awareness grows. We are excited to see where it can go in the future.”
After graduating from Wentworth Institute of Technology, Maher joined the Warren Trask Company in 2004. He started in their engineered wood department, was promoted to operations manager in 2013 and moved into his current position in 2024.
