The Las Vegas (NV) Convention Center recently welcomed the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) International Builders’ Show (IBS) and the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS). This year marked the biggest IBS in 15 years with 1,700+ exhibitors, of which 45 percent were new.

The two events co-located during Design & Construction Week and represented the largest annual gathering of residential construction and design industry professionals. Thousands attend each year.

The IBS provides attendees ample networking opportunities and this year more than 100 education sessions. These cover a broad range of topics on housing industry concerns, including economic trends, business opportunities and new markets, technology, high performance building, sales and marketing, construction methods, business management, legal issues, government regulation, architecture, design, community planning and more.

New this year was the segmentation of exhibitors by product they represented. Six distinct product segments were available at this year’s IBS/KBIS.
These included:

  • Building materials
  • Interior finishings and home living
  • Business management and professional services
  • Global products
  • Construction tools, systems, equipment and safety
  • Outdoor living, leisure and modular structures.

The event also features yearly multiple awards by KBIS as well as IBS, learning labs, demo zones and guest speakers.

Next year’s show dates are Feb. 25-27, 2025, also in Las Vegas. In 2026, the event moves to Orlando, FL to be held Feb. 17-19 at the Orange County Convention Center.
