Portland, OR—Parker Woodley is a lumber trader for Collins, a forest products manufacturer with national sales, based here. Collins produces 180 million board feet of lumber per year between two Softwood mills combined, including White Fir and Ponderosa Pine, all S4S KDHT stamped 2×4 through 2×12 and 1×4 through 1×12. The enterprise also offers timbers. Grades extend from SS and AG to No. 3 and economy.
Collins also has an integrated wholesale floor that will complement its day-to-day mill sales, using relationships Collins has developed over the years to meet its customers’ demands. Even if Collins doesn’t manufacture a product at one of its own mills, this business can get a customer exactly what he or she needs.
Collins is a member of the North American Wholesale Lumber Association, the Western Wood Products Association, the Wood Protection Association, the Forest Stewardship Council and the U.S. Green Building Council.
Woodley began working for Collins in July of 2019. This was his first job in the forest products industry. Woodley attended Western Nevada College and Clark College, playing baseball at both colleges. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University. In his free time, he loves spending time with his girlfriend, Bri, and their dog, Rocco, along with being active outdoors, being on the water and going on runs and hikes. He also loves playing golf and skiing Mt. Hood and Mt. Bachelor. For more information, you can go to www.collinswood.com.
