Eager to incorporate industrial sawmills into your line, but not sure where to start? Wood-Mizer industrial machinery allows you to enter into the market at a price that fits your budget and work your way up. We offer versatile, modular industrial machinery, allowing you to grow piece by piece and build an industrial line that works for you.
We offer industrial sawmills to fit every company’s budget and needs. Industrial sawmills such as the WM2500, WM4500 and WB2000 are game changers tailored for peak production, operating seamlessly as standalone primary headrigs to saw pallet boards, grade or dimensional lumber or as vital components of a complete sawmilling system.
Use each sawmill as standalone machinery or add other equipment such as edgers and resaws as your business grows. Wood-Mizer prioritizes flexibility by meeting your industrial line needs, no matter the cost.
Part of this flexibility is shown in the fact that all Wood-Mizer industrial equipment, including our sawmills, are modular. This means that they can be used alone, or easily paired together. With this idea in mind, Wood-Mizer has ensured that all industrial equipment has adjustable height, to ensure simple and seamless cohesion.
Let’s take a more in depth look at the WM2500, WM4500 and WB2000 industrial systems, hearing from real Wood-Mizer customers and experts on how to utilize their capabilities and how they could benefit you.
The WM2500 Industrial Sawmill
The WM2500 includes advanced features to ensure precision, stability and operational efficiency. This industrial sawmill joins the established and growing Wood-Mizer range of industrial-level sawmill equipment that includes sawmills, resaws, edgers, material handling equipment and complete sawmilling systems.

In addition, simple, cost-effective material handling can be added before and after the WM2500 to enhance its productivity. The WM2500 industrial sawmill provides a comprehensive solution to maximize log yield and optimize log breakdown in industrial settings.
“Drawing from our years of field experience and feedback from our customers, Wood-Mizer is dedicated to designing machines that can adapt with the flexible market,” said Colin Campbell, industrial sales manager.

“Wood-Mizer is committed to providing premium quality sawmill equipment for all levels of production throughout the world. The all new WM2500 sawmill provides pallet, grade, and lumber operations with a high-quality, high-production mill at a great price to scale their business,” said Campbell.
The Wood-Mizer industrial line allows you to move from a simple setup to a more complex industrial system with the simple addition of industrial equipment. Each industrial sawmill is equipped with a set of exceptional features to bring productivity and efficiency to your business.
The WM4500 Industrial Sawmill
As Wood-Mizer’s next generation flagship industrial sawmill, the WM4500 continues a long tradition of providing commercial sawmilling equipment solutions throughout the world. Featuring many benefits of Wood-Mizer’s world renowned industrial sawmill range, the WM4500 can be used as a primary headrig to saw pallet boards, grade or dimensional lumber or to breakdown logs for further processing.
Alongside the complete range of Wood-Mizer sawmills, the WM4500 headrig capitalizes on thin-kerf blade technology to produce accurate lumber while reducing capital, material, labor, energy and maintenance costs.
The WM4500 industrial sawmill comes with a one year warranty and is backed by the same legendary service, quality and safety features shared by the entire family of Wood-Mizer wood processing equipment.
This industrial sawmill specializes in lumber grading, dimensional, flooring, reclaimed and pallets while also being able to take on other projects like cants, beams, pallet stock, truck mats, railroad ties, timber frame, posts and fencing.
It is equipped with a 5HP feed motor and larger up/down gearbox as well as a stronger head, mast and strain system, high pressure blade lubrication system, long lasting blade guide rollers, 21-foot cutting length with board removal, and so much more for improved construction and durability.
Wood-Mizer customer Deep Woods Lumber Co. integrated the WM4500 into their own line as their family business began to grow. Starting with a simple circular sawmill and easily transitioned to the WM45000 industrial sawmill, to keep up with production demands. As their business continued to grow, Deep Woods also added a Wood-Mizer industrial board edger to their system which improved their material flow and efficiency. Showing just how easy it is to adapt your system to your own needs.
“All of the boards, ties, everything will end up on the same side of the sawmill at the same time. Honestly, we have probably one of the simplest and easiest setups there is for this type of Wood-Mizer,” said Bryce Woolridge, sawmill operator at Deep Woods Lumber Co.
The WM4500 works perfectly for Deep Woods Lumber Co. As their business changes and fluctuates it is simple for them to add new pieces of equipment.
The WB2000 Industrial Sawmill
The WB2000 High-Performance Industrial Sawmill combines the increased yield of thin-kerf blade technology with the durability and reliability that high-production operations demand.
Packed with high-performance features, the WB2000 includes a powerful 50HP electric motor, heavy-duty construction, low maintenance, HMI cab operated feed controls, two camera video system and an efficient operation with precision setworks for sawing large diameter softwood, hardwood and tropical logs.
The WB2000 is built to handle large, long and heavy hardwoods. The bed and head construction of the WB2000 is made to last and minimize down time. Mills that produce into the crane mat industry will thrive with this sawmill. The WB2000 features a modular bed design so customization of log handling can be tailored to your specific needs.
The WB2000 also includes features such as a heavy-duty Twin Rail Head Construction with Quad Post Support, increased material drag back capabilities, wideband performance with 2-inch or 3-inch Wide Sawmill Blades, as well as a six ton log capacity, making it a powerful and efficient addition to your industrial system.
Just like the previous two systems, the WB2000 can be used as a standalone sawmill to fully process a log, or in addition to an existing system to process irregular logs or produce custom orders.
An example of the WB2000 in use is Wilson Enterprises. “We do everything in-house here. We purchase the logs, we mill them on the mill, we’ll run it through the resaw, we have four large dry kilns here, so everything gets dried in-house. From there we actually process everything to a finished product start to finish,” said Wilson Enterprises owner, Gerry Wilson.
Along with the WB2000, Wilson Enterprises also added the HR700 Horizontal Resaw, an industrial board edger, and multiple kilns to their industrial system as their business continued to grow.
Each of these three industrial sawmills prove Wood-Mizer’s dedication to providing our customers with industrial systems that can grow and change as your business does. Never worry about needing to buy the biggest or most expensive system. Start within your budget and allow your industrial system to grow with your needs by adding equipment piece by piece.
