Jones attended Pennsylvania State University, located in State College, PA, where he graduated with a business degree in 1988. Jones also obtained his Hardwood Lumber Inspector Certificate in 1988 from the National Hardwood Lumber Association Inspector Training School.

Brian Gibson works in sales for Cole Hardwood, a concentration yard based in Logansport, IN. His territory is most of the Northeast – Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, New York and Canada.
Cole Hardwood sells Red and White Oak, Ash, Cherry, Walnut, Hard and Soft Maple, Hickory, Poplar and Beech in 4/4 through 8/4 thicknesses. The company also can dry up to 12/4 thickness in such species as Poplar and Soft Maple.
Cole Hardwood has a kiln capacity of 1,300,000 board feet, and keeps about 12 million board feet in inventory. The facility uses a Newman 382 planer, straight line rip and dries thicker stock lumber to a uniform 6-8 percent. Its four trucks deliver within a 300-mile radius.
Gibson started working at Cole Hardwood after graduation from Bethel College in 2018. His first job in the industry was in the yard, where he pulled boards and learned how to inspect lumber before moving into the sales position. “I knew I wanted to work for a company that provided a quality product and Cole Hardwood does just that,” said Gibson, who has completed the NHLA three-day course. “I get to work with some of the most honest, hard-working individuals.”
Gibson’s hobbies include woodworking, fishing, hunting, cycling, running and hiking.

Jason Dishman is responsible for purchasing green lumber at Hermitage Hardwood Lumber Sales Inc., located in Cookeville, TN.
Hermitage Hardwood has 1.1 million board feet of dry kiln capacity and offers surfacing and grading. The company has 4.5 million board feet of capacity of sheds for air-drying lumber and currently maintains 5 million board feet of storage for kiln-dried lumber. Additionally, the company offers ripped strips.
Species offered by Hermitage Hardwood include Red and White Oak, Walnut, Hard Maple, Poplar, Cherry, Ash, Hickory and Basswood. Truckload and container shipments are offered.

Jeffrey Dougherty of Ally Global Logistics has been promoted to Director of Export Sales.
Ally Global Logistics is one of the largest forest products freight forwarders in the U.S., with offices in Jacksonville, Florida and Weymouth, MA. In addition, Ally has a domestic department that ships via FTL, Flatbed and LTL.
Over the past four years, Dougherty has worked as an export account manager, Branch Manager, sales manager and now Director of Export Sales. Dougherty started in their Massachusetts, office before taking the opportunity to lead their Jacksonville, FL operation. He now manages all of their export sales.
Dougherty is married and has an MBA in International Business from Webber International University, located in Babson Park, FL. During his undergraduate tenure, he was a member of Webber International’s golf team. When not working, you can find Dougherty at the golf course.
