Bill Rogers
Bill Rogers

Bill Rogers handles export and domestic sales for Newman Lumber Company in Gulfport, MS.

Newman Lumber is a wholesaler, importer and exporter of tropical hardwoods including Genuine Mahogany, Spanish Cedar, Sapele, Tornillo/Mara Macho, Cerejeira, Jatoba, Santos Mahogany and African Mahogany  (air-dried or kiln-dried in random widths and lengths).

The company offers its products internationally and has extensive knowledge in export requirements and logistics, according to Rogers.

A graduate of Sam Barthe High School in New Orleans, he also attended Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA.

Rogers has worked in the import/export industry for 27 years, 15 of which have been spent at Newman Lumber. He has also worked in procurement and importation, quality assurance and product development.

Newman Lumber offers length-and-width sorts, LTL, half-truck, full truck, and container shipments. Newman Lumber also offers certified wood.

The company is a member of the National Hardwood Lumber Association and the International Wood Products Association.

Rogers and his wife of 17 years, Glenda, have three daughters. In his free time, Rogers enjoys fly-fishing, golf, and soccer.

Marijo Wood
Marijo Wood

Marijo Wood is sales manager for Neff Lumber Mills Inc., located in Broadway, VA.

Neff Lumber offers 4/4 through 12/4 Appalachian Red and White Oak, Poplar, Ash and Walnut lumber. Their specialty items offered are 4-inch to 9-inch strips available in all species and grades.

Wood has been with Neff Lumber for approximately 43 years and in her current position for the past 35 years. She began her career in the forest products industry with Neff Lumber Mills, working in the office.

A graduate of Broadway High School, Broadway, VA, Wood attended Blue Ridge Community College, located in Weyers Cave, VA.

Neff Lumber is a member of the Appalachian Hardwood Manufacturers Inc., Appalachian Lumbermen’s Club, Virginia Forestry Association, Virginia Forest Products Association and National Hardwood Lumber Association.

Wood enjoys playing golf in her spare time.

Wesley Boles
Wesley Boles

Wesley Boles is Vice President and a member of the sales team at Hermitage Hardwood Lumber Sales Inc., located in Cookeville, TN.

Hermitage Hardwood is a manufacturer of Appalachian hardwoods, including Poplar, Red and White Oak, Ash, Walnut, Hickory, Cherry, Basswood and Hard and Soft Maple, offering domestic and export shipments. The company specializes in high grades, including FAS and No. 1 Common, with width sorts and customized surfacing offered upon request.

Boles graduated from the University of Tennessee, located in Knoxville, TN, in 2009 with a degree in marketing and a minor in logistics. He also graduated from the 161st class of the National Hardwood Lumber Association’s Inspector Grading School in 2010. 

Boles’ responsibilities include expanding new customer bases in locations across the United States and export markets. He is also involved in daily production and kiln planning.

Hermitage Hardwood Lumber Sales is a member of the American Hardwood Export Council, Hardwood Manufacturers Association, Appalachian Hardwood Manufacturers Inc., and the National Hardwood Lumber Association.

In his spare time, Boles enjoys spending time with friends and family and sports, including golf and tennis. He is married to Chelsea with two daughters.

Kellee Griffith
Kellee Griffith

Kellee Griffith is a member of the sales team at Cardin Forest Products LLC, located in South Pittsburg, TN. Her area of focus is sales of kiln-dried lumber.

Cardin Forest Products is a manufacturer of green and kiln-dried lumber, including rough and some rift and kiln-dried Red and White Oak, Poplar, as well as some Ash, Hickory and Walnut. 

The company offers all products to national as well as international customers, and all lumber is harvested in a close radius to the Cardin sawmill to ensure consistent color. The company does not sell stave logs, so customers are guaranteed the highest quality possible.

Griffith graduated from Marion County High School, located in Jasper, TN, in 1996. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University, located in Murfreesboro, TN, in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in political science degree. She has worked at Cardin Forest Products for six years. Griffith also has 11 years of experience as a sales director, previous to joining the Cardin sales team.

Cardin Forest Products is a member of the National Hardwood Lumber Association, American Hardwood Export Council and the Tennessee Forestry Association.

In her spare time, Griffith enjoys traveling, music, food and wine, and watching college football (Roll Tide) and Nashville Predators hockey.
