Missouri Hardwood Purchases 1.5 Million Board Feet In Hardwood Lumber
Edward Crumrine is the plant manager and lumber purchaser for Missouri Hardwood Products, located in Brighton, MO.
The company specializes in hardwood flooring and purchases 1.5 million board feet of Red and White Oak, Hickory, Cherry, and Walnut in 4/4 thickness. Crumrine has been in the forest products industry for 13 years and his first position involved unloading trucks and loading kilns. He has been a manager at the company for the past year. He attended high school in Williard, MO, and a trade school at Ozark Technical Community College in Springfield, MO. In his spare time, he enjoys camping, boating and hunting, as well as other outdoor activities. His wife of nine years is Melissa Summers Crumrine, and they have eight children and eight grandchildren.
Missouri Hardwood Products is a member of National Wood Flooring Association, the Missouri Forest Products Association, and National Hardwood Lumber Association.

Lumber Industry Veteran Assists Two Companies With Purchasing
Greg Pappas is a lumber buyer for Ten Oaks Flooring and Prolam Floors, both located in Stuart, VA and has been with them for over four years. Ten Oaks Flooring makes residential flooring and Prolam Floors makes truck flooring. Both companies’ combined purchase 30 million board feet per year in Red and White Oak.
Pappas has been in the forest products industry for over 40 years, with 17 years in production and 25 years in purchasing and sales. His first job in the industry was at World Wood and he has previously been employed at Coastal Lumber Co. and Northwest Hardwoods.
Pappas went to West Craven High School and attended college at East Carolina University. He also went on to NHLA Inspection School.
Pappas likes boating, fishing, going for motorcycle rides, and many other sports. He has been married to his wife Jennie for 36 years, and they have one son.

Canadian End Use Manufacturer Offers A Variety Of Species
Senior Purchasing and Inventory Control Agent Noel Bedford is employed by Riverside Millwork Group, which has locations in London and Waterloo, ON. Bedford’s duties include purchasing lumber, mill and millwork components, wire shelving and hardware.
Lumber species handled by Riverside Millwork include the following kiln-dried, rough species varying between 4/4 through 10/4: Poplar, Red (also in No. 1 Common) and White Oak (also in rift cut), Hard and Soft (also in wormy) Maple, Ash, Walnut, Knotty Alder, Cherry (also in 90/50 Red), Birch, Sapele, Red Grandis, fir, and pine (also in Common & Better).

The Canadian manufacturer offers, in addition to wire shelving and hardware: doors, fire-rated doors, mouldings, cabinets, fireplace mantels, trim, and kitchen and closet components. Value-added processes include product installation and measuring.
Bedford has spent nine years in the lumber industry and with Riverside Millwork, but three years in his current position.
Bedford has been married for five years, has two children and playing guitar is his hobby.
