WCMA Springs Into Action
Last fall, the WCMA Board of Directors agreed to move our flagship event, the WCMA Conference and Plant Tour event, to the spring. We are looking forward to welcoming members, Tech Partners, and others in the industry to WoodTech Connect 2025, May 20-22, in Williamsport, PA.
We have lined up tours of seven outstanding facilities, plenty of opportunities to network, and an excellent speaker to discuss the state of the industry. Don’t miss out on an exclusive opportunity to tour a handpicked selection of top-performing plants that showcase a dynamic mix of mouldings, cabinet parts, millwork, lumber processing and so much more. This event offers you a behind-the-scenes look at how industry leaders are mastering wood processing techniques—from cutting-edge optimization and scanning to efficient materials handling, gluing, lean manufacturing, tooling and machining. You’ll gain invaluable insights by witnessing firsthand the innovative methods that are driving success in the industry. As busy owners and managers, we know it’s easy to put your professional growth on the backburner—but trust us, this is the one event you can’t afford to miss! The time to elevate your business is now—secure your spot today!
Non-members are encouraged to attend to see what the WCMA is all about. Any company that qualifies for membership may attend the event at a higher registration rate. If you decide to become a member within 60 days of the tours, the WCMA will refund the difference in registration cost and will discount your 2025 Annual Dues by 15 percent. We are proud of our new efforts and want to share our progress with potential members. We are sure that after participating in these excellent networking opportunities you will be excited to join.
If you have not yet registered for WoodTech Connect 2025, please visit our website at wcma.com or call the office at 651-332-6332 or email wcma@wcma.com. Williamsport, PA is a beautiful area, and spring is an excellent time to visit, and we encourage you to spend an extra day or two in the area. We look forward to seeing you!

Working with WCMA Members
The benefits of working with WCMA member companies are clear. Outsourcing wood components can oftentimes save money and enables you to take advantage of other’s design and production expertise, thereby saving on the personnel and capital expenditures that would otherwise be required if you were to produce the parts in-house.
Finding a supplier that can consistently produce quality components and be responsive to your needs is easier than ever before. Just give us a call at 651-332-6332 or visit our source guide at members.wcma.com/sourceguide/search. You will be provided with a list of WCMA Member Companies that will meet your exact requirements for dimension and component products made from hardwoods, softwoods, and engineered wood materials. It’s that easy!
Promoting the Real American Hardwood Coalition (RAHC)
As a founding contributor to the Real American Hardwood Coalition (RAHC), WCMA is deeply committed to promoting American hardwoods and supporting our domestic hardwood manufacturers. The RAHC’s mission is simple but powerful: “With widespread support, the Real American Hardwood Coalition (RAHC) unites the collective efforts and resources of the industry to advance American hardwoods as the Naturally Authentic™ choice.”
Thanks to WCMA’s financial backing, our members are encouraged to use the RAHC logo on qualifying products, helping to build consumer recognition of this premium brand. This partnership is an exciting opportunity for our members to differentiate their products and contribute to the growing recognition of American hardwoods as the sustainable, high-quality choice for consumers.
