Penn-York Gathers In New York For Meeting

Fitzpatrick & Weller Inc. and W.J. Cox Associates recently co-hosted a Penn-York Lumbermen’s Club meeting, held at the Holiday Valley main lodge in Ellicottville, NY.

The evening event was highlighted by a presentation by Dallin Brooks, executive director of the National Hardwood Lumber Association.

Fitzpatrick & Weller, located in Ellicottville, NY, was founded in 1895 and is a multi-national supplier of hardwood lumber and wood components. The company markets hardwood species native to their area of Western New York. According to Fitzpatrick & Weller’s website, native hardwood species include Red and White Oak, Hard and Soft Maple, Cherry, Ash, Poplar and Basswood. The company also uses Walnut, Mahogany and European Beech.

Upcoming meetings of the Penn-York Lumbermen’s Club include May 19th’s meeting in Tunkhannok, PA, hosted by Deer Park Lumber Co. and the June 16th meeting in Emporium, PA, hosted by Emporium Hardwoods.
