Portland, OR— Patrick Lumber, headquartered here, recently announced three promotions.

Chelsea Brown was promoted to East Coast sales manager. Terry Haddix was named operations manager. And Mark Gray is now the West Coast sales manager.

Brown started in the fall of 2007 as the receptionist of Patrick Lumber and has worked her entire career there, working eventually as a trader assistant and then began trading lumber in 2018. Brown was homeschooled during high school and graduated from Washington State University.

Haddix started in the lumber industry about 25 years ago at Stimson Lumber in downtown Portland. She has also worked at Fullmer Lumber and Oregon Canadian Forest Products. She started at Patrick Lumber in October of 2011 and is currently working toward a management degree.

Gray began working at Patrick Lumber eight years ago at age 25. Prior to Patrick Lumber, he worked for a Chinese wine distributor in Guangzhou. His father worked in the lumber industry, so it was fitting to follow his footsteps. He spent a college summer pulling and packaging customer orders at the distribution level. This experience opened his eyes to the importance of integrity, building relationships, showing up, and the wide range of products available in the market.

Established in 1915, Patrick Lumber Company is a secondary manufacturer and exporter of niche high-grade wood products, sold through a network of worldwide distribution.
