More Than 1,000 Travel To Indy To Celebrate IHLA

Approximately 1,200 attendees converged on the J.W. Marriott in Indianapolis, IN, recently for the annual convention and exposition hosted by the Indiana Hardwood Lumbermen’s Association (IHLA).

The Welcome Reception kicked off the event on the first night, followed by multiple speakers on day two. The Tree Farmer Breakfast was first on the agenda, followed by the opening session keynote speaker, Dr. Matthew Will.

Later, Dana Lee Cole, executive director of the Hardwood Federation, joined Pat Rita of Orion Advocates and Mike Dankler, chief of staff for Congressman Rudy Yakim, to discuss tariffs and participate in a trade panel discussion, moderated by IHLA’s Ray Moistner.

Exports and the Global Economy was the topic presented by Michael Snow, executive director of the American Hardwood Export Council. http://ihla.org
