LSLA Reports Strong Attendance At Annual Summer Golf Outing

Spring Green, WI–House on the Rock Golf Resort, located here, was the recent site of the annual Lakes States Lumber Association (LSLA) golf outing.

Over 100 guests attended the LSLA’s Wednesday Welcome Reception sponsored by Cascade Hardwoods and Kendrick Forest Products. Attendees enjoyed an evening guided tour through the world famous House on the Rock attraction and a cocktail reception at the House on the Rock Resort.

On Thursday, 136 golfers teed it up on the Robert Trent Jones Sr.-designed Springs Course at the House on the Rock Resort.

Golf winners were:

A-flight/overall champion with a score of 58:

Cal Diercks (Kretz Lumber Co.); Luc Connor (WD Flooring); Ross Corullo (Action Floors); and Andy Dufeck (Dufeck Wood Products)

B-flight winners with a score of 70: 

Josh Steger; Jason Wiskus; Tim Meese; and John Carithers (Kendrick Forest Products)

C-flight winners with a score of 78:

Daniel Smithburg (Rockland Flooring); Jason Nelson (Nelson Forest Industries); Logan Wenzel (Blackhawk Industrial); and Maynard Herbert (Colonial Life)

Baillie Lumber Cash Shoot-Out winner: Keith Renneberg (Metro Hardwoods)

Penn-Sylvan International Hole #12 Long Drive winner:

Matt Marchel (Lyme Great Lakes Timberlands)

Kretz Lumber “Money Ball” winners: 

Vince Catarella (Baillie Lumber Co.); Peter McCarty (TS Manufacturing); Phil Kersten Jr. (Kersten Log & Lumber); and Sam Brettingen (Heck Capital Advisors)

Welter Forest Products “Crazy Shot” winners:

Stephen Zambo (Ally Global Logistics) and Josh Steger (Kendrick Forest Products)
