INDIAWOOD 2024: A Global Summit For Woodworking And Furniture Production Technology

As INDIAWOOD approaches its 25th anniversary in 2025, its 2024 edition recently took center stage, offering a comprehensive showcase of woodworking and furniture production technologies at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre in Bengaluru, India. The American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC) provided U.S. lumber companies an opportunity to exhibit their products and services in the AHEC Hardwood Pavilion.

From 2025, INDIAWOOD will alternate locations between Delhi and Bengaluru each year, ensuring a meticulously curated, focused, and internationally recognized platform to champion the industry’s growth and global aspirations, according to show organizers.

2024 INDIAWOOD, featuring over 950 companies from more than 50 countries, including participation from Germany, Italy, France, Malaysia, Taiwan and the U.S., welcomed approximately 70,000 trade visitors in 75,000 square meters of exhibition area. The event provided a glimpse into the latest innovations, technology and offered unparalleled networking opportunities.

INDIAWOOD 2024 brought together industry leaders, technology suppliers and buyers from around the world. It also featured a comprehensive line-up of seminars, workshops, and panel discussions led by experts and thought leaders.

Attendees explored cutting-edge machinery and technology, a rich array of materials and supplies, fittings, hardware and components, and a spectrum of industry services.

Co-located events included India Mattresstech & Upholstery Supplies Expo, along with Wood+ in Architecture & Design and Surface in Motion India.

As one of the world’s leading events for woodworking and furniture manufacturing technology, INDIAWOOD 2024 in its record-breaking format is instrumental in defining future trends of the sector, according to show organizers.
