Emporium Hardwoods Welcomes Penn-York Attendees
Emporium Country Club served as the site for the recent meeting of the Penn-York Lumbermen’s Club with Emporium Hardwoods hosting the monthly event.
Emporium Hardwoods also welcomed Penn-York attendees to tours of its mill.

A golf game and lunch at the country club offered those in attendance ample networking opportunities.
The day ended with a social hour and dinner.
Emporium is a state-of-the-art mill, completely re-constructed after a fire in 2018 into one of the most efficient hardwood sawmills in the world today – sorting, milling and drying to tolerances, consistencies and yields that were not possible even a few years ago, according to the website for Emporium’s parent company, the Rossi Group. Emporium offers annual production of approximately 35 million board feet of lumber sourced from Appalachian hardwood forests within a 100-mile radius of the mill.

The next Penn-York meeting is set for Aug. 18 in Corry, PA, with Penn-Sylvan International as host.
