Deer Park Welcomes Guests To Penn-York Meeting

State College, PA–Deer Park Lumber Inc. served as the host for the recent monthly meeting of the Penn-York Lumbermen’s Club, which was held here at Wyndham Garden and attended by 90 members and guests.

A golf game at Mountain View Country Club kicked off the day.

Later, the guest speaker was Jeff Nichols from Deer Park Lumber and member of the Board of Directors for ALIFT (Assisting Loggers Immediately Fund Trust), which is designated as a 501(C)(3) public charity established to provide financial assistance to the families of injured loggers immediately after a logging accident.

Additionally, a speaker from the PA Dept. of Agriculture addressed the attendees at the Penn-York meeting to commemorate the 2 millionth visitor of the Woodmobile and touch on the history of this program in Pennsylvania.
