Moulding And Millwork Manufacturer Sells Several Species
Linus Yoder is the plant operations manager with a hand in purchasing at Tilo Industries LLC in Lewisburg, PA.
Tilo Industries purchases 1,350,000 board feet annually in Alder, Ash, Basswood, Birch, Cherry, Hard and Soft Maple, Hickory, Poplar, Red and White Oak, Walnut and Sapele. These species are bought in 4/4 through 8/4.
They manufacture hardwood mouldings, furniture components, edge glued and laminated panels, dovetail drawer boxes and radius mouldings. Priming, finishing, wire brushing, profile sanding and custom profile designs are services the company offers.
Yoder has worked for Tilo Industries for 19 years and in his current position for 16 years. This is his second position in the lumber industry, as his first position was in construction where he remained for 10 years.
He stated that he has been married to Michelle for 13 “wonderful years” and that his hobbies include hiking, fishing, camping and volleyball.
Tilo Industries is a member of the Wood Component Manufacturers Association and the National Wood Flooring Association.

Oak Pointe Stairs Custom Designs Millwork

Oak Pointe Stairs LLC is a manufacturer of stair parts, columns and other millwork in standard and custom designs. Each year the company purchases over 100,000 board feet per year of Red and White Oak, Quartersawn White Oak, Hard and Soft Maple, Beech, Alder, American Cherry, Walnut, Poplar, Hickory, Jatoba and Sapelle, as well as other species upon request (Select and Better, 3/4 and 5/4, kiln-dried, S4S).

Stanley Wood Products Purchases Poplar, Maple, Walnut
Toby Maida is president and lumber buyer for Stanley Wood Products, located in Santa Rosa, CA.
Stanley Wood Products is a manufacturer of custom cabinetry, millwork, butcher block tops and furniture. They have been in business for over 46 years. The company purchases approximately 100,000 board feet of hardwood lumber each year, including Poplar, Maple, Walnut, Alder, Cherry and Beech. Lumber is purchased in FAS grade, 4/4, 6/4 and 8/4 thicknesses and rough.
The company also purchases softwood species such as pine and vertical grain fir. Maida attended Cardinal Newman High School and Santa Rosa Junior College, located in Santa Rosa. He has worked at Stanley Wood Products since he was a child, pushing a broom around when he was eight years old. Over the years he has held the positions of shop helper, delivery driver, cabinetmaker, estimator, production manager and anything in between. In his current position as president and lumber buyer, he handles all material purchasing and daily operations.
In his spare time, Maida enjoys spending time with his wife of 19 years, Jen and their two children, Hannah and Hunter. He also enjoys camping, driving Jeeps, golfing and traveling.
