IWPA Teams Up With New Orleans For World Of Wood Convention 1

The International Wood Products Association (IWPA) recently held their 69th World of Wood Convention at the JW Marriott in New Orleans, LA. Industry professionals from more than 25 countries were represented at this year’s gathering and were able to participate in three days of high-impact educational programming and ample opportunities to network with industry peers.

The successful convention concluded with a ceremonial passing of the gavel to IWPA’s incoming president, Bryan Courtney, of Genesis Products, and was followed by a second line parade down Canal Street to the Audubon Aquarium for a festive closing dinner celebration.

Next year’s 70th World of Wood Convention is scheduled for March 17–19, 2026, at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO.

The International Wood Products Association, headquartered in Alexandria, VA, is the leading trade association for the international wood products industry in North America. IWPA brings together every segment of the global supply chain, from producers and service providers to importers, distributors, manufacturers and retailers.
