HMA Is Heading Back To The Volunteer State

If you were to ask an HMA member why they value belonging to our Association, you may notice a reoccurring answer: HMA’s signature events. And each year, HMA hosts two Regional Meetings and our National Conference and Expo. Keep reading for details on all three.

This month, members of the Hardwood Manufacturers Association (HMA) will be heading to Memphis, TN, for our 2025 Southern Regional Meeting, Monday–Wednesday, March 10–12. Our base of operations will be the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Memphis, and we have an exciting lineup of tours on our schedule.

At the time of submitting this column, confirmed tours include Classic American Hardwoods in Memphis, Shomaker Lumber Company in McKenzie, TN, and Marietta Wood Supply in Marietta, MS. From seeing new equipment and technology in action, to taking part in the industry’s best peer-to-peer networking opportunities, it’ll be time well spent in the Volunteer State!

Tennessee Sounds Good to Me

If you haven’t yet registered, there’s still time! Information on each tour location, registration, hotel reservations, and sponsorship opportunities can be found online at HMAmembers.org. As a reminder, HMA Regional Meetings are only open to HMA members, National Conference exhibitors, and promotion sponsors. And we encourage you to send your senior managers, operational managers, and younger workforce to see what HMA is all about. As an incentive, we’re offering employees from HMA member companies—who are first-time Regional Meeting attendees—a $25 discount on their registration. Email ian@hardwood.org for details.

Plans also are in the works for our Fall Regional Meeting, which will be held in Wisconsin. Stay tuned for updates.
