The Timber Processing and Energy Expo (TP&EE) was recently held in Portland, OR at the Portland Expo Center for the sixth biennial event since the original show in 2012. TP&EE, which is produced by Hatton-Brown Expositions LLC, is marketed as the premier wood products machinery event, focusing on primary producers of lumber, panels and engineered wood products, complemented by the supporting wood-based energy industry.

In addition to a wide array of expo booths manned by equipment and technology suppliers, the event promoted a conference also located in the Portland Expo Center dubbed Productivity and Efficiency. This one-day conference by Timber Processing was designed for sawmill operators for all sizes and focused on what’s next with sawmill byproducts. Speakers from BID Group and MiCROTEC were pre-Expo confirmed speakers.
