Forcey/Walker Close Out 2024 Penn-York Lumbermen’s Club Meetings

Golf, sporting clays and dinner comprised the agenda recently for the final Penn-York Lumbermen’s Club meeting of the year. Hosted by Forcey Lumber Company and Walker Lumber, Penn-York members and guests enjoyed golf at Mountain View Country Club, sporting clays at Warriors Mark Wingshooting Lodge and Kennels in Houtzdale, PA.

Dinner at Wyndham Garden State College concluded the day. Amy Shields from Alleghany Hardwood Utilization Group was guest speaker.

Host Forcey Lumber, of Woodland, PA, has been a leader in the hardwood lumber industry for 70 years and through four generations, according to their website (www.forceylumber.com). Among the company’s product offerings is kiln-dried lumber, sourced from Central Pennsylvania. Forcey Lumber’s site states it produces lumber in thicknesses ranging from 4/4 to 8/4 in all species native to North America.
