Members of the Southern Cypress Manufacturers Association (SCMA) recently gathered in Atlanta for their 2024 Mid-Year Meeting. The event took place at the Georgia World Congress Center during the International Woodworking Fair.

During the two-day event, 22 members, promotion sponsors, and staff convened to hear updates on the SCMA’s promotion campaign, previewed upcoming projects, discussed association business, planned future meetings, and heard an update on the Real American Hardwood Coalition’s work to promote and provide education on domestic hardwoods to consumers and design professionals. The prior night, attendees gathered for a networking reception and dinner to catch up with industry colleagues new and old.

The SCMA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of Cypress building products to consumers and design professionals. For more information, visit www.CypressInfo.org.
