North Myrtle Beach, SC–The Appalachian Lumbermen’s Club held its Annual Beach Meeting at a new location and with dozens of new faces in April.

The Club moved to the Avista Resort for the annual event and had more than 130 attendees. Casual networking is the theme for this weekend and included forest industry representatives from landowners, sawmills, distribution yards and secondary manufacturers from the central Appalachia region.

The group held two well-attended receptions and a dinner that was followed by a spirited game of Deal or No Deal. Participants were drawn and allowed to select a case that held cash prizes. Before opening the case, they could accept cash offers to sell or keep it.
