Selling 120 million board feet annually, Hancock Lumber has 4 Eastern White Pine mills in Maine and New Hampshire, with 90 percent of its sales in North America and 10 percent of its sales from exporting. They sell the Eastern White Pine in thicknesses of 4/4 and 5/4 in widths of 2-inch to 12-inch and in multiple grades and patterns.
Among the unique services that the company has to offer are specific proprietary grades and tallies, molded pattern stock, textured faces, shrink wrap, proprietary packaging, and a finishing line with stain and priming.

He graduated high school from Duluth Cathedral and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Gustavus Adolphus College.
His hobbies include hunting, fishing, sailing and tennis. He has been married to Kristin Baumgarten for 25 years and they have two sons.

Jason Faulkner is the vice president of mill sales for Humboldt Sawmill Company, located in Scotia, CA. Joining the company in the fall of 2023, Faulkner manages a staff of four sales professionals covering the entire U.S. and Canada. Faulkner’s office location is in Ukiah, CA.
Humboldt Sawmill Company produces 400 million board feet of Redwood and Douglas-Fir lumber products annually. Redwood products produced include decking, timbers and uppers. Douglas-Fir products produced include timbers, posts and beams.

Jim Olson is the sales manager for LaSalle/Bienville Lumber Co. LLC. LaSalle Bienville is a 50/50 partnership between Hunt Forest Products, based in Ruston, LA, and Tolko, based in Vernon, BC. The LaSalle sawmill is located in Urania, LA, and the Bienville sawmill is located in Taylor, LA.
Both sawmills produce Southern Yellow Pine dimension lumber, while the LaSalle sawmill produces dimensions of 2×4-2×8 and the Bienville sawmill produces dimensions of 2×4-2×10, both producing to 20-foot lengths. The LaSalle mill has an annual production rate of 300 million-plus board feet and the Bienville mill has an annual production rate of 425 million-plus board feet.
Olson has been in the forest products industry for 42 years and has been with LaSalle/Bienville for five years.
In his free time, Olson enjoys traveling with his wife, Kim, as well as cooking and grilling.
