Portland, OR–The Multnomah Athletic Club here served as the site for a recent Regional Meeting hosted by the North American Wholesale Lumber Association (NAWLA). Approximately 135 were in attendance. 

The schedule for the meeting included an evening education session followed by a networking reception. 

Kevin Bergquist, senior vice president and sector manager of forest products for Wells Fargo Bank was the guest speaker. He addressed the economic outlook for 2020 in the lumber industry. Bergquist’s primary responsibilities for Wells Fargo include analyzing product processors with areas of emphasis in the forest products industry, including manufacturing operations from sawmills to plywood plants to secondary millworks.
