Forslund Building Supply Purchases Lofholm’s Building Center

Norway, MI–The former Lofholm’s Building Center, located here, has been sold and re-opened under the Forslund Building Supply name.

According to published reports, the owners of Lofholm’s approached Forslund last fall about taking over the business. Forslund also has stores in Ironwood and Caspian in the western Upper Peninsula, both under the same Fort Wayne, IN-based Do it Best retail co-op.

Brothers Bob and David Lofholm decided to retire after 67 years in business, according to the Lofholm’s Facebook site.

Forslund Building Center provides dozens of in-stock lumber products – from every day studs and treated boards to special order beams.
