Nation’s Best Announces Multiple Acquisitions

Crested Butte, CO–In recent months, Nation’s Best, a growing home improvement company headquartered here, expanded to include nine locations after adding acquisitions.

Nation’s Best most recently announced its acquisition of Bridgeport Building Centers, founded in 1990 with five locations serving the North Texas market of Dallas-Fort Worth and surrounding areas. Bridgeport’s locations include state-of-the-art lumberyards, as well as fully stocked hardware stores serving a diverse customer base of homebuilders, contractors and do-it-yourselfers.

The company also recently announced their acquisition of Groom & Sons, a three-location contractor lumberyard and retail hardware and home center. Groom & Sons offers a wide variety of building materials to an established, diverse customer base of homebuilders, contractors and do-it-yourselfers. Founded in 1948, Groom & Sons has locations in East Dallas, Mabank and Athens, Texas.
