A modern hardwood business.
The GTL Forest Group is a vertically integrated hardwood business. We begin with buying logs from loggers or buying select timberland and responsibly harvesting the timber. As members of the KFIA, NHLA, IHLA, NWFA, AHEC, WPMA and ALC, we follow very strict guidelines for harvesting. Also, we only practice the select cut harvest method, no clear cuts.
With having sawmills and dry kilns, we can insure supply while controlling costs. We pride ourselves in that we buy all species of logs, because we have a home for everything, whether in exporting logs, or making finished goods here.
